This role demands a passion for leading people and a commitment to maintaining the high standards that make Panera Bread unique. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the team is motivated, energized, and operating efficiently to deliver the best guest service possible. Your leadership will help bring Panera's core values to life, fostering a workplace culture where every team member feels valued and inspired to grow.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22 to $25 plus overtime opportunities, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and career advancement. Key benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) plans, a scholarship program, and an employee assistance fund. Additionally, Panera provides free counseling services, a company Care Coach Chaplain, and daily pay options for eligible locations, enhancing financial flexibility. Working at Panera Bread means joining a company that invests in its people, providing multiple pathways for growth and development within the restaurant industry.

In this role, you will thrive if you enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment and possess excellent communication skills. The hospitality industry’s hustle and bustle fit well if you’re someone who can maintain composure under pressure and manage interactions with a diverse range of guests and team members professionally. Flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, is essential, as is a strong commitment to food safety standards.
