  • Kitchen Managers must have current alcohol and food certification that meets state requirements
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 12 hours

Job Duties

  • Manages restaurant environment to ensure prompt and friendly service
  • Directs overall activities and performance of associates on a shift-by-shift basis
  • Addresses and corrects all verbal guest complaints immediately and refers more serious issues to the General Manager
  • Enforces alcohol awareness and safety compliance
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels and oversees product preparation and presentation
  • Effectively schedules associates to meet sales demands
  • Promotes and manages restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
  • Manages associate performance including recruitment, training, evaluations, and discipline
  • Controls costs and assets while ensuring compliance with legal standards
  • Reports progress towards restaurant performance objectives and handles cash management procedures
  • Develops assistant managers and hourly associates through coaching and training
  • Communicates daily with management team
  • Completes maintenance and reports needed repairs
