Job Requirements
- RBS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- food handler certification
- authorized to work in the United States
- availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 lbs
- full-time, exempt role
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining restaurant
- proven ability to lead a team during busy service
- strong ownership mindset and proactive approach
- experience with restaurant systems (Toast, SpotOn preferred)
- strong communication and coaching skills
- solid food and wine knowledge preferred
- professional presence and passion for hospitality
- high emotional intelligence and leadership ability
- experience with labor management and cost awareness preferred
Job Duties
- Lead the floor during service and ensure a seamless guest experience
- set the tone for hospitality through professionalism and presence
- resolve guest concerns and elevate service standards
- run pre-shift meetings and align team on priorities
- partner with kitchen and bar for smooth execution
- supervise and coach FOH team during service
- support onboarding and training of new hires
- reinforce accountability and service standards
- provide feedback and support performance conversations
- support scheduling and labor management
- monitor labor and adjust staffing during service
- ensure daily operational readiness and cleanliness
- assist with inventory and beverage operations
- complete opening and closing duties
- use systems like Toast, SpotOn, OpenTable, and Asana
- utilize Google Workspace for communication and reporting
- support consistency through systems and processes
- maintain strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails
- guide guest experience and support upselling
- participate in ongoing training and tastings
