Job Description

We are currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Floor Manager to join our leadership team. This full-time, exempt position is the entry point into salaried management within Vine Hospitality and is designed for hospitality professionals who are ready to take ownership, lead from the floor, and grow into broader operational roles. The Floor Manager will be the most visible managerial presence during service, responsible for setting the tone through professionalism, urgency, and meticulous attention to detail. The role requires a leader who can guide the front-of-house (FOH) team to consistently deliver an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, upscale or fine-dining setting.

This floor-first leadership role combines service leadership, team development, operational execution, and system management. The successful candidate will lead and supervise the FOH team during service, run pre-shift meetings, resolve guest concerns, and ensure smooth collaboration with kitchen and bar teams. Responsibilities also include scheduling support, labor management, daily operational readiness, inventory assistance, and completion of opening and closing duties. Proficiency with industry systems such as Toast, SpotOn, OpenTable, and Asana, along with strong communication and organizational skills, are essential.

Regular participation in training sessions and tastings is expected.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $80,000 to $85,000 with performance-based bonuses. Additional benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage after 90 days, 401(k) plans with company matching after one year, dining discounts, and substantial growth opportunities within Vine Hospitality. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and possess relevant certifications or a willingness to obtain them. This role demands availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the majority of time spent actively leading on the floor and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
