Job Description

LB Steak is a premier upscale dining establishment known for its commitment to exceptional hospitality and culinary excellence. As part of the renowned Vine Hospitality group, LB Steak prides itself on delivering an unparalleled guest experience through its attention to detail, sophisticated atmosphere, and dedicated team. With a reputation for excellence in service and quality, the restaurant offers a vibrant and dynamic work environment where hospitality professionals can thrive and grow their careers. LB Steak is steadfast in its approach to leadership, emphasizing a floor-first management style that places the guest experience at the forefront of its operations. The establishment fosters a culture where every team member is empowered to take ownership of their role, contribute to a cohesive team, and elevate the standards of service daily.

The Floor Manager role at LB Steak is an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented hospitality professional ready to step into a salaried management position within Vine Hospitality. This position serves as the entry point into Vine Hospitality's management track, designed for individuals eager to lead from the floor and eventually assume broader operational responsibilities. The Floor Manager is the most visible manager during service and plays a crucial role in setting the tone through professionalism, urgency, and meticulous attention to detail. This role demands a strong ownership mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support and develop the front-of-house team effectively.

As a Floor Manager, you will lead the floor during service to ensure a seamless guest experience while partnering closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth execution. You will run pre-shift meetings, resolve guest concerns with tact and professionalism, and maintain high service standards to enhance customer satisfaction. Supervising, coaching, and supporting the development of the front-of-house team are key components of this role. You will also be responsible for reinforcing accountability, conducting feedback sessions, and supporting onboarding and training efforts.

In addition to leadership duties, the Floor Manager will assist with operational management including scheduling, labor monitoring, inventory support, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness of the restaurant each day. Strong proficiency with restaurant technology systems such as Toast, SpotOn, OpenTable, and Asana is essential to support performance and streamline operations. Maintaining comprehensive product knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails will allow you to guide the guest experience effectively and support upselling opportunities.

This full-time, exempt role requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the majority of time spent actively managing the floor in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds is necessary to manage operational tasks efficiently. Compensation includes a competitive base salary between $80,000 and $85,000, performance-based bonuses, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Dining discounts and opportunities for career growth within Vine Hospitality make this an excellent chance to advance your career in a respected and growth-oriented hospitality company.
