Job Description

PJ's Coffee in Bossier City, LA, is part of the renowned PJ's Coffee of New Orleans brand, a company with a rich history dating back to 1978. Founded by Phyllis Jordan, a pioneer in the coffee industry, PJ's Coffee has built a reputation for exceptional quality in coffee sourcing, roasting, and beverage crafting. The company prides itself on using only the top 1 percent of Arabica beans and organic teas to create gourmet drinks and offers a delightful selection of fresh breakfast pastries and hot breakfast sandwiches that complement their beverages perfectly. Situated at 2119 Airline Drive Ste 100, PJ's Coffee in Bossier City operates with a team of 11 dedicated members, each committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational excellence. As a manager at PJ's Coffee, you will be responsible for training employees, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that our customers' expectations are not only met but exceeded. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with strong leadership capabilities, punctuality, and an engaging personality to inspire and motivate staff.

Your key responsibilities will include managing employee schedules, supervising staff to maintain exceptional food and beverage quality efficiently and cost-effectively, and administering vendor relations to ensure timely and quality product availability. You will also be tasked with budgeting and monitoring inventory, labor, and restaurant expenses to maximize profitability. Additionally, you will implement and uphold health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for both customers and employees.

This role involves producing and analyzing profit and loss reports, devising strategies to boost sales, and acting as the primary communication channel between employees and management. You will work closely with the local franchise owner to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and contribute actively to the growth of PJ's Coffee in the Bossier City community.

Compensation for this position ranges from $10.00 to $16.00 per hour.
