Job Duties

  • Manages restaurant environment ensuring prompt friendly service
  • directs overall activities and performance of associates on a shift-by-shift basis
  • builds a culture using the Vision/Mission Statement to guide teamwork and results
  • ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
  • enforces alcohol awareness and maintains departmental inventory levels
  • schedules associates effectively to meet sales demands
  • maintains safety, security, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
  • communicates with other managers through logs and meetings
  • manages associate performance through recruitment, training, feedback, and compliance
  • controls costs and assets and ensures compliance with laws and procedures
  • prepares and submits accurate paperwork and reports
  • fosters development of managers and associates
  • sets goals and action plans for growth
  • provides role model and professional image
