Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of shift
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds repeatedly
  • Comfortable working in hot, damp environments
  • Familiarity with kitchen tools and machinery
  • Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Support all restaurant operations and conditions to ensure quality of product and customer service
  • Communicate with team members, guests, vendors, and personnel for various needs
  • Act as kitchen manager under GM direction
  • Practice safe food handling and ensure compliance with health standards
  • Work with GM on Quarterly Business Plan and tactical preparations
  • Demonstrate and teach company service standards such as Service 101 and P.A.C.E.
  • Influence restaurant operations to meet budget targets each shift
  • Follow operational systems including Manager Timeline and line checks
  • Work on Manager Career Development plan to become GM ready
  • Assist GM in personnel decisions including hiring, promotions, terminations
  • Provide training and maintain standards for hourly team members
  • Mentor managers and shift leaders
  • Provide timely feedback to team members
  • Perform monthly maintenance checks and recommend repairs within budget
  • Assist GM with inventory counts and reconciliation
  • Lead by example in customer service and team commitment
  • Occasionally perform duties of food server, expo, line cook, Service Assistant or food runner
