Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of shift
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working in hot, damp environments
- Familiarity with kitchen tools and machinery
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment

- Ability to manage budgets and control costs

Job Duties
- Support all restaurant operations and conditions to ensure quality of product and customer service
- Communicate with team members, guests, vendors, and personnel for various needs
- Act as kitchen manager under GM direction
- Practice safe food handling and ensure compliance with health standards
- Work with GM on Quarterly Business Plan and tactical preparations
- Demonstrate and teach company service standards such as Service 101 and P.A.C.E.
- Influence restaurant operations to meet budget targets each shift
- Follow operational systems including Manager Timeline and line checks
- Work on Manager Career Development plan to become GM ready
- Assist GM in personnel decisions including hiring, promotions, terminations
- Provide training and maintain standards for hourly team members
- Mentor managers and shift leaders
- Provide timely feedback to team members
- Perform monthly maintenance checks and recommend repairs within budget
- Assist GM with inventory counts and reconciliation
- Lead by example in customer service and team commitment
- Occasionally perform duties of food server, expo, line cook, Service Assistant or food runner
