Sushi Roku Santa Monica is a premier dining establishment that is part of the renowned Innovative Dining Group, known for its upscale restaurants like BOA Steakhouse and Katana. Sushi Roku has established itself as a leader in revolutionizing the Japanese dining experience by blending inventive sushi creations, bold fusion dishes, a lively and inviting atmosphere, and an expertly crafted cocktail menu. With locations across key cities including Los Angeles, Orange County, Las Vegas, and Austin, Sushi Roku has quickly become a hotspot for food lovers, trendsetters, and tastemakers alike. The restaurant prides itself on delivering a dining experience that is both memorable and innovative, making it one of Southern California's most sought-after culinary destinations.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Restaurant Manager to join the dynamic Sushi Roku Santa Monica team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a high-energy environment where hospitality and customer service are paramount. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and elevating the restaurant's standards by providing ongoing training and development to front-of-house staff and ensuring that exceptional service is consistently delivered. You will serve as a liaison between team members and management, supporting both the General Manager and operational needs on the floor. Your efforts will contribute to a positive workplace culture rooted in professionalism, friendliness, and a commitment to excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with staffing, scheduling, and staff development, managing labor and food and beverage costs, and fostering proactive sales. You will also oversee compliance with health, sanitation, liquor, safety, and employment regulations, ensuring operational efficiency through maintaining the restaurant's upkeep and facilitating maintenance and repairs. Your communication skills will be vital in creating a culture of trust, respect, and teamwork, both within the employee base and with guests. This position demands a creative thinker who can not only handle the pressures of a high-volume, upscale restaurant but also drive new sources of revenue to sustain growth and success at Sushi Roku.

Sushi Roku Santa Monica is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value diversity and inclusivity and encourage all qualified candidates to apply. We are committed to making employment decisions based on merit, qualifications, and business needs without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. This position requires a flexible schedule to cover daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, along with the physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. By joining our team, you embrace the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, innovative dining environment where your leadership will directly impact the overall guest experience and the success of Sushi Roku.
