Job Duties

  • support all restaurant operations and conditions to ensure quality of product and customer service
  • communicate with team members, guests, vendors, and Hielan personnel
  • act as kitchen manager under GM's direction
  • practice safe food handling and ensure compliance with health standards
  • work the quarterly business plan with proficiency
  • demonstrate Hielan's Service 101 and P.A.C.E. methods
  • influence restaurant operations to meet budget targets
  • follow operational systems such as Manager Timeline and perform quality Line Checks
  • work on career development plan towards GM readiness
  • assist GM in personnel decisions
  • train and develop hourly team members
  • mentor managers and shift leaders
  • provide candid feedback to team members
  • perform monthly maintenance checklist and recommend repairs
  • assist in inventory counts and reconciliation
  • lead by example in guest commitment
  • perform duties of food server, expo, line cook, service assistant, or food runner when needed
