Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push
- Ability to read orders and menus
- Frequent hand washing and immersion in cleaning and sanitation solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and customers
- Willingness to participate in skills development and obtain required certifications
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties
- Protects and promotes the Whataburger brand at all times
- Schedules training as directed by the unit's/shift staffing plan
- Maintains professional relationships with team members, treats team members with fairness and sensitivity
- Communicates policy violations and complaints to appropriate managers
- Prepares and presents ideas and recommendations to team members and upper management

- Uses on the spot training to improve performance and provide positive feedback
- Evaluates team member performance by meal period and provides feedback to team members and general manager
- Participates in creating and maintaining individual development plans for team members

- Tracks and audits sales, food, labor, cash, and expense items daily
- Performs administrative tasks including payroll corrections and ordering supplies
- Conducts safety audits and shift inventories

- Reviews weekly sales/labor analysis and shift reports
- Provides restaurant safety procedures audit and on-site inspections
- Ensures completion and communication of incident/accident reports
- Validates individual team member sales performance
- Reviews staffing requirements and operating plans
- Ensures hiring process and orientation are completed timely
- Prepares reports for senior management
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned
- Establishes and maintains community relationships
- Greets customers and solicits feedback
- Changes and ensures accuracy of POP
- Maintains clean, organized, quality eating environment

- Ensures cash handling and security procedures
- Controls labor expense in relation to sales
