This opportunity is with a well-established restaurant that operates within the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through efficient and friendly customer service. The company prides itself on creating a clean and welcoming environment where customers can enjoy their meals promptly prepared and served to meet the highest standards. As a single-unit restaurant operation, this establishment places a strong emphasis on teamwork, leadership, and compliance with operational standards to ensure seamless restaurant functioning and outstanding guest experiences.
The BOSS Manager role is integral to the success of the restaurant’s daily operations, acting as a key support to the Restaurant General Manager. This position involves the oversight of operations, financial controls, staff development, guest services, and compliance across all shifts. The Manager ensures that the restaurant meets its goals in terms of sales, profitability, and employee retention by directing efficient operations and motivated staff. Full accountability for restaurant operations rests on the Manager in the absence of the General Manager, requiring a proactive leadership style and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. The role demands availability to work long, irregular, and occasionally extra shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to maintain proper functioning of the restaurant.
Responsibilities include directing the preparation and sale of products within established speed of service guidelines, motivating staff to exceed guest expectations, supervising and training team members, maintaining cash control, managing labor and inventory, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The Manager collaborates with the Restaurant General Manager and the broader field operations team, and interacts regularly with vendors and guests to uphold the restaurant’s high standards.
This position requires a professional with strong leadership capabilities, capable of hiring, training, and retaining effective team members. Additionally, the Manager must be adept at handling disciplinary actions and performance management while promoting a positive and productive work environment. The role offers an opportunity to develop within the hospitality industry by gaining expertise in restaurant management, financial analysis, and team leadership.
