Job Description
Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is a family-owned Christian-based company and the largest franchisee of Hardee's restaurants in the United States. Established with a mission centered on believing in people, Boddie-Noell is dedicated to using its resources to create opportunities for its employees and positively influence the lives of individuals wherever and whenever possible. This commitment to people is reflected in the company's strong community-oriented culture and the nurturing work environment it fosters across all its Hardee's restaurant locations. The corporate philosophy emphasizes working alongside team members rather than managing from a distance, promoting effective leadership through example and direct involvement. This approach helps ensure that guest complaints are resolved promptly, food quality standards are met, and operational challenges are addressed efficiently, making the dining experience exceptional for every customer.
The Restaurant Manager role at Boddie-Noell Enterprises is an opportunity for dynamic, motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference for guests and team members every day. As a vital leader within the restaurant, the Restaurant Manager operates the restaurant in the absence of the Senior/General Manager, supporting the achievement of sales growth by maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and profitability. This position requires a hands-on leader who motivates, trains, and develops crew members with positive and respectful leadership. The role includes managing staffing requirements, controlling labor costs, ensuring food safety and quality, maintaining inventory, and upholding compliance with all state and federal regulations. Managers also play a key part in coaching and counseling employees, conducting team meetings, and ensuring that all restaurant operations align with company standards.
A unique feature of this role is the opportunity to work closely alongside crew members rather than from a distance. This enables the manager to lead by example, solve problems immediately, and maintain high operational standards. The job involves not only managerial responsibilities but also active participation in day-to-day tasks such as cash management, inventory control, and restaurant maintenance. Boddie-Noell Enterprises values strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude, fostering an inclusive culture that highlights employee care and career growth. The company offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including weekly pay, paid training, 401K, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, vacation and sick leave, and opportunities for advancement. Benefits such as discounted meals, bonus programs, and a supportive work atmosphere with corporate chaplains and employee assistance funds emphasize the company's commitment to employee well-being.
This role is ideal for individuals with at least two years of management experience who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and are eager to develop their career skills in the restaurant industry. Additionally, veterans and individuals with previous military experience are encouraged to apply, reflecting Boddie-Noell's dedication to diverse hiring and support for service members. The Restaurant Manager position is available on a full-time basis and requires flexibility to work all shifts and weekends. Candidates must meet physical demands, pass background and drug screens, and have a valid driver's license. By joining Boddie-Noell Enterprises, you become part of a caring family culture that respects and develops talent, offering not just a job but a meaningful career path in the hospitality industry.
