Job Description

Enterprise Mobility is a premier provider of mobility solutions in the transportation industry, known for operating popular car rental brands such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. The company operates through an integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries, making it one of the largest and most respected names in the car rental and fleet management sector. Enterprise Mobility offers a broad array of services, including car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management services, all designed to provide customers with seamless and convenient travel experiences. Headquartered privately under the ownership of the Taylor family from St. Louis, the organization is a global leader managing a diverse fleet of approximately 2.4 million vehicles. Its footprint extends across more than 9,500 neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories, generating nearly $39 billion in revenue annually.

The Management Training Program at Enterprise Mobility is an exceptional opportunity for individuals aiming to build a career in sales, business development, customer service, retail management, or operations within a supportive, growth-oriented environment. This position, located in Ypsilanti, MI, is designed for ambitious candidates who aspire to develop their leadership skills and eventually manage their own branch. The program offers a clear career path that begins with hands-on training and progresses through ongoing development, mentoring, and a culture that rewards promotion from within. It targets first-year annual compensation close to $51,542 for approximately a 45-hour work week.

As a manager in training, you will be immersed in a comprehensive learning experience that prepares you to excel as both the public face of Enterprise to customers and partners, as well as an operational expert managing behind-the-scenes activities. The training focuses on building core competencies in customer service, sales and marketing, finance, and operational management while emphasizing putting customers first. You'll gain valuable on-the-job experience in one of the neighborhood branches, receiving consistent guidance and mentoring from seasoned professionals.

Enterprise Mobility is proud to offer a robust benefits package to support its employees, including paid time off starting with 21 days per year, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, prescription coverage, employee discounts on car rentals and purchases, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match and profit-sharing. The program encourages a culture of friendly competition that fosters personal development and business growth, assuring that your career trajectory is as dynamic as it is fulfilling.

Choosing a career at Enterprise Mobility means joining a company that values diverse backgrounds and strives to create an inclusive workplace. The organization is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunities to veterans and individuals with disabilities. If you're motivated to build a lasting career with one of the most respected brands in mobility services, this Management Training Program offers a solid foundation to start your journey.
