Job Description
Enterprise Mobility, a prominent leader in mobility solutions, is recognized for owning and operating renowned brands such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. Through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries, Enterprise Mobility offers a comprehensive range of services including car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, travel management, and other transportation services. These offerings are designed to simplify and enhance travel experiences for customers worldwide. Privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis, Enterprise Mobility, alongside Enterprise Fleet Management, oversees a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles and generates nearly $39 billion in revenue. The company's expansive reach spans more than 9,500 fully-staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations across over 90 countries and territories.
This immediate hiring opportunity is for Enterprise Mobility's respected Management Training Program based in Eastpointe, Michigan. The program is tailored to individuals aiming to build a career in sales, business development, customer service, retail management, or operations. As a Manager in Training (MT), candidates embark on a career path with a clear beginning and an open end brimming with growth prospects. The program emphasizes continuous learning through training, development, mentoring, and a culture that promotes from within, ensuring employees steadily advance in their careers.
The role of a Manager in Training at Enterprise Mobility involves hands-on experience from day one, primarily based out of neighborhood branches. MTs serve as the face of the company to customers and partners while also managing behind-the-scenes operational tasks. The structured program equips trainees with the essential knowledge and skills to run their own branch eventually. This includes cultivating new business, developing teams, mastering customer service excellence, enhancing sales and marketing strategies, and understanding financial and operational functions. The company fosters a culture of friendly competition critical to business growth and personal success.
In addition to a dynamic work environment, Enterprise Mobility offers a robust benefits package designed to support employees' well-being and professional development. This includes competitive compensation with targeted first-year annual pay of $51,542.20 based on an average 45-hour work week, paid time off starting with 21 days per year, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, prescription coverage, employee discounts on car rentals and purchases, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match and profit sharing. The company values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, supporting individuals with disabilities and veterans.
