Job Description
Enterprise Mobility is a renowned leader in the mobility solutions industry, operating well-known brands such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. Through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries, Enterprise Mobility offers a comprehensive array of transportation services that include car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management services designed to simplify travel for customers worldwide. Established as a privately held company by the Taylor family of St. Louis, Enterprise Mobility, along with its affiliate Enterprise Fleet Management, manages an expansive fleet of approximately 2.4 million vehicles. This vast operation generates close to $39 billion in revenue and is supported by a network of over 9,500 fully-staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations across more than 90 countries and territories.
The company embodies a culture of growth, opportunity, and strong community involvement. It is deeply committed to the professional development of its employees through structured training programs, mentorship, and a clear career progression pathway. Enterprise Mobility’s dedication to internal promotion ensures that employees not only learn essential skills but also have a long-term career trajectory within the organization, supported by a robust benefits package that reinforces their well-being and satisfaction.
The Management Training Program at Enterprise Mobility offers an exceptional entry point for ambitious individuals eager to forge a career in business management, sales, operations, and customer service within the mobility and rental industry. The program is designed as a full-time position based in Durham, NC (3143 Hillsborough Rd.) or nearby branches, with immediate hiring opportunities. With a targeted first-year annual compensation of $50,000 and an average workweek of 47 hours, trainees are equipped to start their career journey well-compensated and supported.
As part of this program, trainees gain a comprehensive understanding of the business from day one. They serve as both the public face to customers and operational experts behind the scenes, learning everything necessary to manage a branch effectively. This includes mastering customer service excellence, marketing and sales techniques, financial management, and operational logistics. The role demands proactive community engagement, where trainees build essential relationships that drive business growth and brand presence. Through hands-on experience, ongoing mentoring, and performance guidance, the program helps trainees develop into confident managers capable of leading teams, cultivating business, and maintaining operational standards at a high level.
Enterprise Mobility fosters a culture of friendly competition that fuels business growth and personal success. Trainees experience this dynamic firsthand, knowing that their dedication, leadership, and customer-centric approach will be recognized and rewarded. This structured pathway is designed to lead from management trainee to branch management, giving participants a clear path forward with unlimited potential. The program also emphasizes a balance between professional growth and personal well-being, highlighted through a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision insurance, employee discounts, and retirement plans.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a bachelor’s degree and at least six months of experience in sales, customer service, or leadership roles in various settings such as organizational clubs, volunteer community services, athletics, or military service. Candidates must be committed to a demanding yet rewarding schedule and meet specific eligibility criteria to ensure a safe and qualified workforce. Enterprise Mobility is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging applications from diverse backgrounds and emphasizing inclusivity in all practices.
