Known for a commitment to integrity and excellence, Travelers has earned its reputation as one of the best in the insurance industry by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and mutual respect. The company offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where individuals can thrive professionally and personally, with a focus on lifelong learning and career development. The organization’s values are deeply rooted in providing top-tier service and effective solutions to our diverse customer base across various market segments.
This outstanding opportunity is for an Associate Account Executive (AAE) within Travelers’ Bond & Specialty Insurance division, specifically the Private & Non-Profit Liability team. This team provides specialized management and professional liability insurance products and surety bonds tailored to businesses and non-profit organizations of various sizes. The AAE plays a critical role in evaluating and analyzing financial and business risk for a range of complex coverage options, including Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, CyberRisk, Kidnap and Ransom, Crime, and Identity Fraud Expense Reimbursement.
As an AAE, you will be entrusted with building and maintaining strong relationships with agents and brokers to successfully market and sell insurance and surety solutions. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, risk assessment abilities, and consultative sales techniques to achieve the profitability and growth goals of your assigned book of business. The position involves underwriting routine accounts, negotiating terms, capturing new business opportunities, and implementing strategic sales plans. You will be part of a fast-paced, results-driven team that emphasizes collaboration within the business unit and across the enterprise to maximize cross-selling and retention opportunities.
Travelers offers an attractive nationwide salary range for this position from $70,400 to $116,200 annually, with the actual salary determined by factors such as experience, location, skills, and education. Additionally, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentives, making this a rewarding career opportunity for motivated professionals. If you are detail-oriented, decisive, and eager to develop your underwriting expertise while driving business success, this role provides an excellent platform to advance your career in the insurance industry.
