This Associate Manager role is a pivotal position within National General’s claims division, responsible for leading and managing a team of ten to fifteen claims adjusters or vendors. The focus of this position is on providing exceptional claims and inquiry services through chat platforms, maintaining high standards of performance and ensuring that claim processes are executed expertly. The Associate Manager will play a critical role in implementing operational initiatives aligned with claims and company business objectives, driving strategies that promote superior employee performance and effective claim handling. This includes managing staffing levels, providing continuous coaching and mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and resolving customer conflicts effectively to uphold customer retention and satisfaction. The role demands a hands-on leader, specifically in Material Damage claims, with an ability to handle extended file processing and serious injury claims particularly for Florida and Georgia. Strong leadership, conflict management, and negotiation skills are essential for overseeing complex arbitration contentions, settlement negotiations, and customer issues. Compensation for the Associate Manager ranges from $80,000 to $124,600 annually, with additional incentive pay based on experience and qualifications. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 5 years claims experience including supervisory responsibilities

  • experience with claims processing and customer service

  • ability to handle complex customer issues and arbitration
  • proficiency in communication and leadership
  • ability to work under pressure and meet performance goals

Job Qualifications

  • experience handling serious injury claims especially in FL and GA

Job Duties
