Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Maitre D' in a similar high-end restaurant position
Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and wine pairing is preferred
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal communication skills
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays are mandatory
Collaborate effectively with fellow servers, bartenders, and staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time
Lift and carry up to 10-30lbs

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or college degree
Proven experience as a Maitre D' in a similar high-end restaurant position

Job Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
Manage reservations and ensure an organized seating arrangement
Provide guests with detailed menu information and assist with special requests or dietary needs
Ensure that all guests' needs are met promptly, maintaining high service standards
Coordinate with Sr. Restaurant Manager, servers, chefs, and other staff to ensure smooth service
Maintain a polished and welcoming atmosphere in the dining room
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff to uphold restaurant standards
