Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in luxury or fine dining hospitality roles
- Proven leadership in guest relations or dining room management
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable or Resy
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Maître d', lead host, or guest relations professional in luxury, fine dining, or Michelin-starred/Michelin recommended restaurants
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities with outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with reservation management systems such as OpenTable, Resy
Job Duties
- Oversee the flow of the dining room and coordinate seating to ensure smooth service
- Partner closely with restaurant managers, servers, sommeliers, bartenders, and culinary leadership throughout service
- Monitor table pacing to optimize the guest experience without compromising service quality
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation throughout the dining room
- Assist management during peak service periods to ensure operational excellence
- Manage the reservation book to maximize seating efficiency while maintaining an exceptional guest experience
- Anticipate guest preferences and accommodate special requests whenever possible
- Build lasting relationships with returning guests by recognizing preferences and celebrating special occasions
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
