As a Building Services Coordinator at Arden Courts, you will play a crucial role in the overall maintenance and upkeep of the community. This role entails responsibility for all common areas, resident rooms or apartments, grounds, equipment, and mechanical systems within the community. Serving as a leader, the Building Services Coordinator ensures the delivery of industry-leading services by managing and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the facility. The role requires hands-on involvement with routine maintenance tasks as well as overseeing preventative measures to ensure the longevity and safety of the building infrastructure.

The ideal candidate for this position holds a high school diploma or equivalent and has 1-2 years of experience in building plant operations. This experience should cover HVAC maintenance, plumbing, mechanical systems, electrical work, minor construction, and performing associated repairs that ensure the comfort and safety of the residents. Moreover, the candidate must possess the physical capability to frequently climb, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly are essential to perform this role effectively.

- Ensure delivery of high-quality maintenance services and uphold industry standards
- Perform HVAC maintenance, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and minor construction repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure resident comfort and safety
- Oversee ground maintenance to keep outdoor areas clean and safe
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activities and team efforts
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
