The City operates various departments dedicated to enhancing public services and infrastructure. One of the key divisions is the Public Works Department, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the city’s facilities, parks, infrastructure, and public spaces to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal throughout the community. The City of Redondo Beach prides itself on fostering a collaborative work environment that values openness, integrity, accountability, and outstanding customer service. It is committed to supporting the personal and professional growth of its employees while prioritizing fiscal and environmental responsibility.

The Public Works Department is currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join their team as part-time Maintenance Workers. The position requires a valid Class C California Driver License and offers a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment with shifts that can include weekends, holidays, and overtime. Candidates are encouraged to apply promptly as the City accepts applications on a continuous basis and may close recruitment at any time based on the volume of applications received.
