Located at the Cibola Vista Resort and Spa in Peoria, AZ, we are currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Tech I. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards of our resort, ensuring that all guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are well-maintained and operational. As a Maintenance Tech I, you will utilize your basic skills in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical tasks to perform essential repairs and upkeep. Your work will include replacing light bulbs, fixing faucets and toilets, painting, repairing furniture, and managing various maintenance trades to keep our facility safe and inviting for guests and staff alike.

The Maintenance Tech I role demands attention to detail and the ability to handle physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting up to 80 pounds, stooping, and kneeling. Proficiency in using hand and power tools is essential, along with being able to communicate and keep accurate records in English. The position also requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure round-the-clock maintenance support.

Job Requirements
- Six months previous maintenance experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to stand, sit, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push/pull and lift/carry items frequently throughout the workday
- high school diploma or GED
- ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate well in English

Job Duties
- Inspect guestrooms
- inspect public spaces

- repair light bulbs, lamps, switches, and outlets

- replace wall coverings, caulking, and grouting
- conduct basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical maintenance
