Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligible for a commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Two years of experience in the plumbing trade
- Two years of experience in the electrical trade
- Ability to work in person at Walmart facilities
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and handle tools safely
Job Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in state that you will be working
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state that you will be working
- Proven experience in commercial plumbing or electrical environments
- Strong technical expertise in respective trade
- Ability to interpret blueprints and repair manuals
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Job Duties
- Perform major and minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures by utilizing multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
- Dismantle equipment, machines, or facilities to access and remove defective parts
- Diagnose problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment
- Provide prompt response to emergency calls
- Document repair activities
