The role being offered is a Service Technician position responsible for maintaining the physical condition and safety of the properties managed by Greystar. This role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company's high standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. The Service Technician will complete assigned work orders based on resident requests and preventative maintenance schedules, diagnose and repair defects, and oversee the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes. The position also requires documenting service requests accurately, managing materials and inventory, assisting with grounds maintenance, and supporting cost-saving efforts.

Service Technicians must comply with safety and risk management policies, attend safety meetings, and participate in OSHA or other relevant trainings. They will sometimes inspect work done by contractors and conduct periodic property inspections to identify safety concerns and maintenance needs. The job involves physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions. Flexibility is required as technicians may be on call during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates are expected to possess EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling and meet state and local licensing requirements. Valid driver's license status may be necessary depending on property location and responsibilities. The position offers an hourly wage between $22.00 and $24.00 with potential bonus opportunities based on performance.
