The role offered is a technical and mechanical position focused on maintaining the quality, safety, and functionality of mid-rise residential properties. Specifically, the position involves working at a stabilized property with 283 units and operates on a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, plus a rotating on-call roster. It is a temporary role designed for individuals skilled in hands-on maintenance and repair work to ensure the property's infrastructure—including building systems, grounds, and amenities—meets Greystar's rigorous standards for cleanliness, appearance, and functionality. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions
- Compliance with state and local certification requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs

Job Duties
- Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service
- Completes preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing defects
- Prepares vacant apartment homes through the make-ready process including inspections and scheduling vendors
- Manages access and inventory of maintenance supplies and materials
- Completes accurate documentation and paperwork for service requests
- Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting
- Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts instead of replacing and practicing correct tool use
