This commitment to excellence is supported by continuous investments in people, technology, and streamlined processes, ensuring that they meet and exceed customer expectations every day. Valvoline strives to provide comprehensive opportunities for career advancement and competitive benefits, reinforcing its reputation as an employer of choice in the automotive sector.

The Maintenance Technician role at Valvoline is a vital position responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs within company-owned oil change facilities. This role covers a broad spectrum of maintenance tasks including work on building systems, tire rotation lifts, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, and portable equipment such as transmission flush, coolant, and A/C machines. Additional responsibilities involve basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks to maintain the physical condition and operational efficiency of the facilities. Maintenance Technicians ensure maintenance tasks are scheduled and executed based on company protocols and manufacturer guidelines, supporting prevention strategies that minimize downtime and enhance reliability.

The role requires the use of the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order retrieval, documentation, and completion, which fosters accurate and timely recording of maintenance activities and assists in inventory management. Team collaboration is critical, as Maintenance Technicians often assist each other and contribute to special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. This particular role is geographically centered between Renton, Washington, and Seaside, Oregon, providing an opportunity to work across multiple locations within this region. It is a hands-on, physically demanding position requiring technicians to be mobile and capable of performing various physical activities such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and other repetitive movements. Valvoline supports its Maintenance Technicians by offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, disability coverage, paid vacation, and more, reflecting the company's dedication to caring for the whole employee. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a minimum of one year of maintenance or facilities experience who are looking to grow in a supportive, forward-thinking company that values professionalism, teamwork, and technical expertise.
