Culver's is currently seeking a dedicated, responsible, and dependable Porter/Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position is vital in setting an excellent Culver's experience in motion every day. The Porter/Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of the restaurant, including the upkeep of equipment and managing inventory to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly. This role typically begins early in the morning, with start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, reflecting the need to prepare the restaurant for the day.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing superior maintenance to both the interior and exterior of the restaurant in a timely and accurate manner. This includes routine tasks such as landscaping and snow removal, ensuring the building's exterior appearance remains inviting and well-kept. Additionally, this role involves managing food stock using the First In-First Out method to maintain freshness and adhere to safety standards. The technician will also be expected to maintain a working knowledge of all restaurant equipment to perform scheduled maintenance safely and correctly, ensuring operational efficiency throughout the day.

Job Duties

  • Provide superior maintenance to the interior and exterior of the restaurant timely and accurately
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly jobs timely and accurately
  • Maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including landscaping and snow removal
  • Put food orders away accurately, rotate stock in the cooler, freezer, and dry storage area using the First In-First Out method while monitoring shelf life and code dates
  • Maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
  • Complete scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly
  • Start workday between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM
