Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of multifamily or hotel maintenance experience
- valid HVAC/EPA certification
- completion of fair housing training
- willingness to obtain CPO and CAMT certifications after hire
- proficiency in MS Office Suite
- ability to work day shifts with weekend availability
- ability to respond to on-call rotations
- strong troubleshooting and repair skills for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry systems
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- basic computer skills for software usage
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of related multifamily or hotel maintenance experience
- strong knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general carpentry
- HVAC/EPA certification
- fair housing training
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) certifications required or to be obtained after hire
- experience with MS Office Suite including Word and Outlook
- ability to learn makeready scheduling, Payables Nexus, and Yardi software
- strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury apartment community
- utilizing advanced troubleshooting and technical skills to resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pool, and security systems
- developing rapport with residents and assisting with general maintenance issues such as appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, and drywall
- assisting the service supervisor in preparing makeready schedules and inspecting makeready units
- placing orders with approved vendors for necessary supplies and equipment
- helping maintain superior curb appeal of the property
- being available for on-call duties when required
