The Maintenance Technician II role at Cintas is essential in supporting the smooth operation of an industrial laundry facility by ensuring all equipment and systems function effectively and safely. This full-time position is part of the Maintenance department within the Rental organization segment and operates on the second shift. A Maintenance Technician II is responsible for repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting a variety of industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. The role involves performing preventive and predictive maintenance to avoid unplanned downtime and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, this position includes specialized tasks like welding, boiler chemical testing, and making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal boiler performance. The technician is also expected to respond promptly to emergency alarms and resolve safety concerns, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for indoor and outdoor housekeeping of the facility, maintaining inventory supplies, preparing accurate maintenance records, and overseeing work performed by inside and outside service providers. Mentoring Maintenance Technician I partners is also a key aspect, helping to develop skills and increase the team's overall competency. Candidates with at least five years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment are preferred, especially those familiar with reading maintenance literature and blueprints. Basic Microsoft Office skills are needed to handle documentations and communication effectively. Physical stamina is required as the job demands standing for up to seven hours during an eight-hour shift.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of boilers, HVAC experience, and the ability to perform various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, ARC welding, cutting, and brazing. Cintas offers a comprehensive and competitive benefit package comprising medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with premiums below the national average, including a zero-cost medical plan option. Other employee benefits include competitive pay, 401(k) with company match and profit-sharing, company-paid disability, life and AD&D insurance, paid time off and holidays, and opportunities for skills development, training, and career advancement. This role at Cintas not only offers stability and competitive compensation but also a chance to grow within a respected Fortune 500 company dedicated to safety, quality, and employee well-being.
