Job Description
HomeTowne Studios by RedRoof is a distinguished extended stay hotel brand renowned for delivering superior guest experiences across a wide range of locations in the United States. As a part of a reputable management company, HomeTowne Studios has established itself as a leader in the extended stay hospitality industry, managing hotels in 20 different states with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The company prioritizes not only the needs of its guests but also fosters an inclusive and supportive work environment for its employees, emphasizing career development, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. This approach has positioned HomeTowne Studios as the employer of choice within the hospitality sector, where the work environment is valued as much as the work performed.
The Maintenance Technician II role at HomeTowne Studios is designed for a motivated individual eager to contribute to property maintenance and enhance the overall guest experience. With a starting wage ranging from $21 to $23 per hour based on experience, this position offers competitive pay coupled with an attractive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, a 401K plan with employer match, and opportunities for career advancement. The role involves a variety of tasks to maintain the functionality, cleanliness, and safety of hotel premises to ensure the highest standards of service excellence.
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be essential in supporting facility operations through the execution of preventive maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and common areas. Your responsibilities will include routine cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and debris removal, as well as more technical tasks like painting and light bulb replacement. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving will enable you to manage maintenance issues effectively and independently address customer complaints in alignment with supervisory guidance.
This role demands a high degree of reliability, communication skills, and a strong work ethic. You will collaborate closely with the facility manager to execute maintenance plans, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and uphold the brand's commitment to a premium guest experience. The dynamic work setting offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills in hotel maintenance, join a team-focused environment, and build a rewarding career path within a growing company that values employee contribution and well-being.
