The Maintenance Technician I role at HomeTowne Studios is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are eager to begin or further their career in facility maintenance within the hospitality sector. The starting wage for this role ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will play a critical role in performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep tasks that enhance the overall guest experience while maintaining the safety and security of the property.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing routine maintenance work such as painting, caulking, carpet and floor cleaning, changing light bulbs, and repairing or replacing toilet seats. You will manage maintenance work orders efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are documented and completed promptly. Additionally, your responsibilities will include maintaining the hotel's landscaping, parking lot, and exterior building appearance, keeping these areas tidy and free of debris. You will also be expected to adhere to safety protocols and security procedures, including key and lock management, to protect both guests and hotel assets.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least one year of maintenance experience, with knowledge of general tools and equipment, including lawnmowers and landscaping tools, being highly preferred. The Maintenance Technician I must be capable of performing physical labor, such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in non-climate controlled environments.
