Maintenance Technician - Floating Portland Metro Area

Greystar is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team in the Portland Metro area through Salem, supporting six properties including The Alden, Rivercrest, Lake Crest, The Payton, Park Plaza, Lancaster Terrace, and Village East Apartments. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for technical and mechanical duties that support the physical upkeep of the properties, ensuring all buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for appearance, cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. The role also involves performing timely repairs on resident service requests, including appliance repair, completing the make-ready process for apartments before new move-ins, and maintaining outdoor spaces like buildings and parking areas. The position requires occasional on-call availability and may include travel between properties. Candidates should have practical skills in hand and power tools, experience with painting, entry-level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing, along with strong communication abilities and professionalism. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, adhering to safety standards, and participating in property inspections to uphold quality and safety.
