The Maintenance Technician role at FCI Residential is vital to maintaining the quality and functionality of its residential communities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician provides essential maintenance support covering a broad range of areas including general building repairs, plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical, groundskeeping, and appliance repair. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure the community remains safe, comfortable, and visually appealing for residents. Beyond routine maintenance tasks, the technician is responsible for preparing vacant units for new tenants, assisting with preventative maintenance planning, and executing service requests promptly and courteously.

The role demands a high commitment to safety, professionalism, and attention to detail while performing technical duties in a physically demanding environment. The technician is expected to maintain workshop organization, manage inventory of parts and supplies, and ensure the upkeep of all equipment used on the property. HVAC certification and a high school diploma or GED are preferred qualifications. Proficiency in English is essential, and bilingual skills are considered a plus.
