Job Description

Valvoline is a leading company in the automotive preventive maintenance industry, known for its extensive network of company-owned oil change facilities and its commitment to delivering quick, easy, and trusted service to customers every day. With a strong track record of growth, Valvoline continues to invest in its people, processes, and technology to maintain its position as a pioneer in automotive care. The company values diversity and inclusion, striving to create a welcoming workplace where team members from various backgrounds and experiences can thrive and contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a company, Valvoline emphasizes that it is in the people business as much as it is in the car business, seeking individuals who are humble, hungry, and smart to help shape the future of mobility.

The Maintenance Technician role at Valvoline presents an exciting opportunity for those interested in a hands-on position with responsibilities that encompass a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. This position involves performing general maintenance and repairs on multiple building systems and equipment used in oil change locations, including tire rotation lifts, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, and portable equipment such as transmission flush, coolant, and A/C machines. The role also demands proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, and painting to ensure that facilities are well-maintained and operational. A key aspect of this role involves diligent work order retrieval, documentation, and completion through the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), which requires a certain level of computer literacy, including MS Office and Excel skills. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the technician will follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete work assignments efficiently and within designated service level time frames. The role is perfect for individuals who value teamwork and collaboration and have the ability to manage inventory and organize parts and materials effectively both in maintenance vehicles and warehouse locations. Valvoline offers a stable and inclusive work environment that fosters professional development and personal growth, making it an excellent place for those who want to contribute to a company that cares as much about its employees as it does about its customers and products.
