This Maintenance Technician role is based at Bradley Park, a community managed by Greystar, and offers an immediate opportunity for experienced technicians who are high performers with a passion for customer service and exceeding expectations. The position is full-time with a competitive hourly range of $23.00 to $26.00, complemented with housing discounts up to 40% at Greystar communities, a cell phone allowance, monthly bonus incentives, and a robust benefits package.
As a Maintenance Technician, the individual will perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring that the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas are maintained to Greystar's high standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. Daily responsibilities include completing resident repair requests promptly, conducting make-ready preparations for new apartments, maintaining exterior building cleanliness, assisting with vendor management, and carrying out routine maintenance and equipment inspections. Being part of a team-oriented environment, the role emphasizes excellent customer service and collaboration.
This position requires knowledge in the safe use of hand and power tools and mechanical equipment, along with practical skills in painting, basic carpentry, appliance repairs, and plumbing tasks. A high degree of professionalism in conduct and communication is demanded, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes. Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance, often working in varied weather conditions and flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements
- Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- previous experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing
- high level of professionalism in manner and dress
- excellent communication skills including ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- proficient in MS Office Suite

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Completes assigned work orders generated from resident service requests
- completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins
- follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials and tools from the maintenance department
- completes accurate and timely documentation for service requests
- assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities
- supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts
- complies with safety and risk-management policies and attends routine safety meetings
- inspects work performed by contractors and vendors
- assists in conducting routine property inspections
- maintains cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas
- assists with vendor management
- performs routine maintenance and inspections for equipment
