The Maintenance Technician role at Avana Star Lake, one of Greystar’s premier communities located in a prime Federal Way area with close access to I-5 and Highway 509, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional customer service and property upkeep. Avana Star Lake is a large garden-style community featuring 750 units and amenities including three swimming pools and ample indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform critical technical and mechanical tasks that ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas comply with the company’s high standards for cleanliness, functionality, appearance, and safety.

This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest quality of living for residents by completing timely repairs, supporting vendor management, conducting routine equipment inspections, and preparing apartments for new residents through the make-ready process. The role demands hands-on experience with hand and power tools, appliance repairs, basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting, emphasizing safety and efficiency.
