The Maintenance Technician and Housekeeping position at Wildwood Manor Apartments is a full-time, day-shift role that involves a unique blend of maintenance and environmental services. This pivotal position reports directly to the Property Manager and encompasses a wide array of responsibilities essential to the upkeep, safety, and cleanliness of the residential building. The work schedule includes 80 hours every two weeks, with flexibility required for weekends as needed and on-call duties every other week, reflecting the dynamic nature of the role.

In this role, the incumbent will perform comprehensive cleaning duties in public building areas, including carpet vacuuming, hard floor sweeping and mopping, surface dusting and sanitizing, and maintaining pristine glass windows and mirrors. Emphasis is placed on safety, with expectations to use correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment while handling cleaning chemicals and executing housekeeping tasks. The technician will maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring that housekeeping carts and storage areas are orderly and well-stocked.

The maintenance aspect of the job involves responding promptly to work order requests, conducting routine inspections, repairs, and documentation, as well as grounds maintenance such as snow shoveling and grounds equipment operation. The role demands proficiency with small hand and power tools, performing light electrical and plumbing work, carpentry tasks, and maintaining HVAC components. Additionally, the technician assists with custodial duties and groundskeeping, prepares apartments for turnover, and supports community event setups, demonstrating versatility and a commitment to community upkeep.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.08 to $34.01, with compensation influenced by factors such as skills, knowledge, education, experience, and market conditions.
