You will perform hands-on repairs, fabricate replacement parts when necessary, and maintain essential systems such as pumps, packaging machines, and slicing equipment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ years related experience and/or training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment
- 4 years’ direct experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance (alternatively)
- vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree preferred
- ability to function effectively in a team environment
- ability to interact productively with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors
- ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT)
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to read and execute work orders
- ability to write daily reports
- ability to translate equipment manuals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment
- vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree preferred
- ability to function effectively in a team environment
- strong communication skills
- ability to operate powered industrial trucks such as forklifts and scissor lifts
- ability to read and execute work orders
- ability to write daily reports and translate equipment manuals
Job Duties
- Review work orders to assess tools, equipment, time, manpower, parts, and supplies needed
- create work orders using SAP
- respond quickly to emergency calls with appropriate tools and equipment
- read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals
- monitor machinery to spot malfunctions early
- disassemble and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
- fabricate replacement parts using welding, cutting, and sheet metal work
- perform regular preventive maintenance on mechanical systems
- install and maintain mechanical equipment, piping, electrical controls, and utilities
- adhere to preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
- follow all company safety protocols including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedures
- maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
