Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least one year of mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to work on ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding and other high platforms safely
Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
Ability to follow GMP and Food Safety standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
One year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment as a mechanic
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and logic principles
Ability to operate computer programs as needed
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics
Basic plumbing, metalworking, and general facilities maintenance knowledge
Ability to work independently

Job Duties

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility and utilities such as compressed air, water, steam
Provide troubleshooting and repair of facility electrical equipment including single phase AC circuits and DC circuits
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical manuals and schematics
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and complete work orders
Provide operating instructions and training for production line manufacturing equipment
Follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines
