Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work on ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding and other high platforms safely
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
- Ability to follow GMP and Food Safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment as a mechanic
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and logic principles
- Ability to operate computer programs as needed
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics
- Basic plumbing, metalworking, and general facilities maintenance knowledge
- Ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility and utilities such as compressed air, water, steam
- Provide troubleshooting and repair of facility electrical equipment including single phase AC circuits and DC circuits
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical manuals and schematics
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and complete work orders
- Provide operating instructions and training for production line manufacturing equipment
- Follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines
