The Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Vance Brothers (PPG) is critical in providing both emergency and scheduled maintenance, ensuring that all production machinery and plant facilities run safely and efficiently. The role demands a versatile technician with expertise spanning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This position is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who can independently diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize production downtime. The night shift schedule runs from Sunday night through Friday morning, 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. with a half-hour lunch break. Compensation for this role ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, reflecting the importance and skill required for the job.

Ideal candidates will bring a solid mechanical and industrial maintenance background, with at least two years of experience preferred, alongside a high school diploma or equivalent. The role requires not only technical knowledge but also a strong commitment to safety, including familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices for handling hazardous materials and waste. Candidates must be prepared to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including repairs, preventive maintenance, plumbing, and carpentry as needed to ensure overall facility upkeep.
