This role is a full-time position focused on supporting production operations by performing essential maintenance and repair services on production facilities and related infrastructure. The position requires working independently to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, coordinate maintenance schedules, oversee contractor activities, and ensure all work complies with company policies and relevant environmental and safety regulations.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for proactively inspecting equipment and facilities to identify potential maintenance and reliability improvements. The role involves developing basic bills of materials for maintenance projects and meticulously maintaining maintenance records, work orders, and other documentation needed to track and optimize operational performance. Effective communication skills are essential, as the technician will regularly liaise with field personnel, vendors, and external contractors to coordinate and direct maintenance efforts. Physical requirements include the ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and handle lifting tasks up to 50 pounds. Candidates should possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Job Duties
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production facilities and associated infrastructure
- Inspect facilities and identify maintenance and reliability improvement opportunities
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Operations, Engineering, I&E, EH&S, and third-party contractors
- Direct and oversee contractors performing maintenance work
- Develop basic bills of materials for maintenance projects
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and required documentation
- Support initiatives to improve production reliability while reducing operating costs
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with field personnel, vendors, and contractors
