Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- relevant maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
- availability to be on-call and respond to emergencies
- basic computer proficiency
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical capability to perform maintenance duties
- compliance with safety protocols and company policies
- willingness to live on-site if required
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience in maintenance work including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
- strong customer service and communication skills
- knowledge of environmental hazards such as asbestos, lead-based paint, moisture intrusion, and radon
- ability to effectively communicate in English
- basic computer skills for email, online orders, training, and timecard access
- ability to respond promptly to service emergencies
- physical ability to perform various maintenance tasks
- knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance
- willingness to participate in on-call schedules and possibly live on-site if required
Job Duties
- performs maintenance duties including work orders and preventative maintenance activities with minimal supervision
- ensure that apartments are ready for occupancy by performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other repairs
- maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure washing, and general cleaning
- comply with company standards and applicable laws including Fair Housing, OSHA, Landlord Tenant, Local Building Codes, and EEOC
- report safety hazards, equipment issues, and customer concerns to supervisor
- respond quickly to emergencies during work hours and on-call coverage
- follow established inventory processes and support cost-saving initiatives
- maintain high levels of customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and associates
- perform other duties as assigned
