We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join the River Terrace Inn team to ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. In this full-time role, you will support the Director of Engineering by performing daily maintenance duties aimed at minimizing downtime and enhancing guest satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on approach, where you will actively manage the upkeep of guest rooms, hotel systems, and common areas with an emphasis on prompt and efficient service.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
general knowledge of tools and equipment
ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and information
ability to ensure security of guest room access and hotel property
ability to read and understand test equipment and safety manuals
ability to communicate effectively
ability to work independently

Job Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar maintenance role
Familiarity with general tools and equipment
Ability to perform maintenance activities in guest rooms
Strong communication skills
Capability to work independently
Knowledge of safety procedures and manuals
Prior experience in a hotel preferred but not required

Job Duties

Assist the Director of Engineering in maintaining all hotel equipment and facilities
Complete maintenance work orders from all departments promptly and according to standard operating procedures
Perform maintenance tasks in guest rooms such as plunging toilets, unclogging drains, and repairing hardware
Handle electrical equipment repairs including lamps and air conditioners
Maintain confidentiality regarding guest and hotel information
Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property
Communicate effectively with team members and work independently
