The Maintenance Technician role at Breakthru Beverage Group is a critical position that ensures the seamless and reliable operation of conveyor and mechanical systems within the facility. This full-time position is designed for professionals with strong experience in conveyor systems and mechanical maintenance. Scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 6 pm until completion, the role offers an hourly pay rate of $25 to $27, reflecting the technical expertise and responsibility required. The primary focus is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems along with other mechanical components on the property including electrical and pneumatic systems.
In this role, the technician applies their knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to address equipment issues promptly and effectively. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various distribution and facility equipment such as AS/RS systems, cranes, variable frequency drives, gearboxes, and belts. The technician is also responsible for maintaining electrical components, including programmable controllers, transformers, and machinery wiring, following electrical codes and technical documentation accurately.
Additionally, the Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance with hand and power tools, ensuring all equipment functions optimally to support the distribution operations. General building maintenance tasks like plumbing, painting, and lighting repair are also part of the job scope to maintain the facility in good working order. The role includes setting specifications for new equipment installation, including power supply wiring and conduit installations.
This position requires a results-oriented individual who excels in problem-solving, multi-tasking, and working both independently and collaboratively. Comfort working at heights and in extreme temperatures is essential, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service. The Maintenance Technician will also be expected to demonstrate sound judgment and discretion in daily operations.

Job Duties
- Identify equipment issues and perform maintenance
- apply mechanical, electrical and pneumatic system knowledge for repairs
- maintain electrical systems and equipment
- troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical and mechanical systems
- perform routine maintenance with hand and power tools
- coordinate and perform general building maintenance
- install new machines and equipment including wiring and conduit
- perform other duties as assigned
