The Maintenance Technician role at Amrize is a critical position within the plant operations team, focusing on ensuring that all production equipment remains in optimal condition. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry
- working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and general plant maintenance
- experience with changing screens, welding, cutting torch, wrenching
- ability to operate skid steer and man lift (a plus)
- proficiency in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- welding and fabrication skills highly desirable
- ability to work overtime
- basic computer skills
- successful adherence to safety protocols including proper use of PPE and respirators
- clean shaven where respirator seal meets face
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment following manufacturer and company procedures
- maintain inventory of required replacement parts
- inspect condition and operation of plant equipment and perform repairs and adjustments
- report required repairs or findings to supervisor
- perform emergency repairs on production equipment during breakdowns
- adhere to safety, environmental, and company policies and complete required paperwork
- routinely inspect mechanical equipment, parts, and systems for repair or replacement
- maintain crushers, conveyor belts, pulleys, pumps, screens, and bearings
- conduct job safety analysis before diagnosis or repair
- communicate and promote health, safety, and environmental policies
