Marquette Management Inc. is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for their Ann Arbor, MI location. This full-time role offers a starting wage range of $21.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience, along with a generous $1,000 sign-on bonus. The Maintenance Technician position is pivotal in maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appeal of the apartment communities managed by the company. Responsibilities include handling general apartment and common area repairs, preparing vacant units for new residents, managing snow and trash removal, performing emergency repairs, landscaping, ordering supplies, and keeping maintenance records. The role demands a hands-on individual who can efficiently maintain building systems and assist with appliance moves, all while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and team members.

Candidates should have prior maintenance experience, ideally in the apartment or hotel industries, and possess a sound knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and apartment turnover procedures. Additional certifications, such as HVAC or EPA Universal Certification, are considered advantageous. Flexibility to be on call and work weekends when necessary is also highly valued.
