PCA's Algona, Washington facility is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of the plant's mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Maintenance Technicians at PCA play a vital part in ensuring minimal downtime and optimal function of production equipment through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with flexibility based on business needs.

Job Requirements
- Read and write in English
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- 2+ years experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- Must provide own basic hand tools
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM or other shifts based on plant needs
- Must comply with safety requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- 2+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- Ability to read and write in English
- Experience in mechanical or electrical trades preferred
- Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus
- Experience in corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment
- Work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance activities
- Respond to breakdown calls in a production environment
- Participate in multi-craft training to develop maintenance skills
- Adapt to shifts based on plant needs and seniority
- Maintain basic hand tools provided by the technician with support from PCA tool stipend
- Comply with safety standards and use safety equipment provided by PCA
