This commitment to excellence and employee well-being is reflected in its comprehensive benefits package, competitive wages, and focus on fostering a safe, inclusive working environment where innovation and efficiency go hand in hand.

The Maintenance Technician role at Silgan Closures' Tolleson facility is a hands-on industrial maintenance position focusing on the upkeep and repair of high-speed injection and compression molding equipment. This role is vital in minimizing downtime, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and conducting scheduled preventive maintenance, thus enhancing the facility's overall efficiency and product quality. The technician will work closely with various teams, including Team Leads, Quality Assurance Technicians, and production specialists to ensure machinery runs smoothly and safely.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $28.00 to $32.00, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shift work. The work schedule includes 12-hour shifts during evenings or Fridays and Saturdays, following a 2-2-3 rotation that provides every other weekend off. Employees are compensated bi-weekly and enjoy paid lunches and breaks. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package offering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and wellness coverage with no extra cost for dependent coverage.

The facility promotes a safety-conscious working environment, enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and HACCP programs stringently. The Maintenance Technician is responsible not only for repairing equipment but also for maintaining production areas and assisting with building and grounds repairs, ensuring a clean and safe workplace. Furthermore, the technician utilizes Enterprise Asset Management software to track work orders, labor hours, and parts efficiently.

Joining Silgan Closures as a Maintenance Technician offers prospects for growth within a robust company focused on innovation and sustainability. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial maintenance experience looking to build a rewarding career in manufacturing and packaging, contributing to an essential segment of the food supply chain.
