Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- ability to pass physical exam
- multi-unit apartment experience in maintenance and repair
- familiarity with tools and paints
- skills in minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- ability to read and write English
- valid California driver’s license
- good driving record
- auto liability insurance
- criminal record clearance
- proof of authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- experience in multi-unit apartment maintenance and repair including painting, wall patching, and sheetrock repair
- familiarity with maintenance tools and chemicals
- skills in minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- ability to read and understand work orders and instruction manuals in English
- ability to maintain written records of completed assignments in English
- valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- criminal record clearance
- proof of authorization to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Assesses maintenance and repair problems with follow-up
- paints interior and exterior buildings
- assists maintenance manager with moving furniture, appliances, and light fixtures
- cleans interiors of buildings upon resident move-out or in preparation for move-ins
- performs minor plumbing and electrical work
- regularly maintains building interior and exterior of facilities
- assists with managing agency vehicles
- responds to facility-related emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule
- performs other duties as assigned
