Job Description

Interim, Inc. is a community-focused organization dedicated to providing services and affordable housing to support members of the community living with mental illness. Our mission is to empower individuals by helping them build productive and satisfying lives in a world where they can live, work, learn, and fully participate in all aspects of community life. With a strong emphasis on hope, inclusion, and support, Interim, Inc. plays a vital role in fostering well-being and resilience among vulnerable populations. We strive to create an environment that nurtures growth, independence, and a sense of belonging for those we serve.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Interim, Inc. as a Maintenance Technician, a key role within our facilities management team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assessing and addressing various maintenance and repair needs across multiple housing facilities and buildings. This role involves hands-on work such as painting, cleaning, patching walls, repairing sheetrock, and performing minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. The technician will also assist in preparing buildings for new move-ins by cleaning interiors and managing the moving of furniture, appliances, and light fixtures under the guidance of the maintenance supervisor. A critical part of this position includes responding to facility-related maintenance emergencies through a rotating on-call schedule.

The Maintenance Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of the living environments provided by Interim, Inc. Attention to detail, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and familiarity with common maintenance tools and chemical applications are essential. This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, maintaining buildings' interiors and exteriors, and managing agency vehicles responsibly.

Interim, Inc. offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $25.43 to $33.12, reflective of experience and education. This is a non-exempt, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with eligibility for overtime compensation. The role reports directly to the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including tuition reimbursement, clinical license and training reimbursements for eligible positions, loan repayment programs, generous health, vision, dental, and life insurance coverage, and a 403b retirement plan with matching contributions. Additional perks include a monthly payment option in lieu of insurance coverage for eligible roles, competitive vacation and sick leave accruals up to 24 days in the first year, professional development opportunities, onsite clinical supervision for clinical staff, employee recognition and appreciation events, as well as a referral bonus program. Work schedules are flexible to promote work-life balance and fulfillment in a family-centered work environment.

At Interim, Inc., we committed to equal employment opportunities and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds. We uphold laws regarding non-discrimination and reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring an inclusive workplace for all. Join us to make a meaningful impact in the community while advancing your career in maintenance within a mission-driven organization.
