Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive building maintenance experience
- 3 plus years of HVAC experience, specifically with Lochinvar Boilers
- skilled in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, dry-wall repair, and snow removal
- exceptional customer service skills
- availability for on-call emergency services
- reliable transportation
- valid driver’s license
- able to work without employment restrictions
- strong references
Job Qualifications
- Three to five years of progressive building maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily environment
- over three years of HVAC experience, especially with Lochinvar Boilers
- skilled in general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, dry-wall repair, and snow removal
- exceptional customer service, interpersonal and follow through skills
- availability for on-call emergency services on an as-needed basis
- reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- able to work with any employer in the US without restrictions
- possessing stellar references
Job Duties
- Model behavior aligned with SDK values when interacting with anyone associated with SDK
- complete service issues related to boiler repairs and general maintenance including plumbing and electrical repairs
- ensure preventive and regularly scheduled maintenance procedures are completed
- be responsible for routine grounds and property maintenance including trash removal, general cleaning, and snow removal
- ensure all procedures related to apartment unit turnovers are completed in a timely manner
- install, replace or repair damaged or new equipment and appliances
- complete carpentry, tiling and painting as needed
- be on-call to address urgent resident matters after regular work hours
- aim to resolve service requests within 24 hours, as much as possible, following established work order procedures and communicate effectively with the team on progress and roadblocks
- maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, and work in progress items
- collaborate with the property team members to maintain a safe community
